(tidak jelas, apakah ada disebut 400 ribu atau 400 dolar,

karena nadanya terdengar 'wajar' dan 'menjanjikan' artinya cukup 'ril'

B menangkap, oh... 400 ribu mah tidak mahal. Ok lah....

Kemudian C, teman A, mengecek langsung ke agen ...

Ketika B meneleponin C, C masih ada di tempat agen

C juga terdengar biasa, tidak ada nada kaget.

C langsung memberikan hp ke agen...

agen berkata benar, 450

B berpikir, 450 sedikit lebih mahal dari yang pernah dibilang A

ok lah...

cek en ricek ternyata bukan 450 rb rupiah, tetapi 450 USD

kesimpulan ...

# Nada bicara bisa mengecoh pendengar

# Mahal atau murah adalah relatif, bagi B atau pun C mungkin 450USD dolar itu biasa, sehingga tidak ada nada 'kaget' -- Bagi si B -- tidak pernah kebayang, kalau biaya pengurusan visa bisa semahal itu -- membaca ke bawah, bukan 'dolar' tetapi 'rupiah'

Pelajaran:

- Kenali 'persepsi' dan ekspektasi kita , ketika mendengarkan.

- Usahakan persepsi dan ekspektasi tidak menjadi filter ketika mendengarkan;

- Don't read between the line ... cepat2 masuk ke asumsi ... 450 langsung berasumsi ke 450 rb :)
