Do I Need Flattery Words and masks?
... we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. (1 Thessalonians 2:4-5 NIV)
I believe Paul's example isn't only for preaching the Gospel. But also how we are living out our faith...
Let God be our witness... He tests our hearts. Let him also guide and guard our attitude, words and actions. Seek His approval, not the world's!
For sure, God's approval will not require flattery words and masks. (Plt180714)
